Job Details Job Responsibilities: Install, commission, test, and maintain protective relay equipment, powerline carrier equipment, DFRs, RTUs, and communication processors. Perform functional testing for protection and control circuitry. Upgrade RTUs and telecom for clients. Work with SEL and GE microprocessor relays. Review and submit test reports. Interpret diagrams and recognize discrepancies. Complete time and expense reports; maintain company vehicles. Education/Experience: 5 years in electrical testing with protection and control equipment, RTUs, and telecom. Degree in Engineering/Technology, Technical school diploma, or military experience. Experience with transmission and distribution relays, substation RTUs, and telecom equipment. Project management experience in HV substations. Familiarity with NERC CIP requirements. Requirements: Lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, and drive regularly. Pass physical exams, drug tests, and background checks. Valid driver's license and OSHA training.
