This role supports students with severe behavioral needs in a structured school environment serving grades K8. The position requires working with a high-intensity severe needs population, including students who may display aggressive and self-injurious behaviors, as well as those with intensive safety requirements. Responsibilities include implementing safety interventions, supporting ABA-based behavioral strategies, and working closely with the educational team to promote student progress. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with scheduled hours from 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and mandatory orientation sessions every other week. Qualifications and Desired Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience as an ABA paraprofessional, supporting students with autism and severe behavioral needs. Knowledge of ABA interventions and experience working in behavioral environments. Comfort and ability to work safely and effectively with students exhibiting challenging behaviors. Must hold at least one of the following credentials: 48 college credits, Associate degree or higher, Child Development Associate (CDA), or Credential of Competency. If not credentialed at the time of hire, must complete a 7-module paraprofessional training during onboarding and submit required credential within 60 days. Residency within 35 minutes of Levittown, PA, is required. Additional Requirements: Ability to provide one supervisor reference from a previous paraprofessional role. Understanding and confirmation of PA Department of Education credential timeline. Commitment to comply with mandatory screenings and clearances.
