Job Description:

Not remote. Will work at work lab location. COVID-19 policy: must be vaccinated to be allowed in the building. Short term assignment-covering for internal employee leave of absence 12 weeks. Willing to work with entry level students (interns) within math, science and food science education background. Pharma experience will be also considered for this hiring manager. Looking for candidates who are willing and eager to learn. This department is only testing-not product development. Lab technician: The role is to provide technical lab support to project mangers. Familiar with sample prep and chemical testing using wet chemistry techniques. Experience working in a lab environment is a must. Desired Skills: Math, Science or technical training required, BS in a scientific field preferred Familiar with basic scientific principles and methodology, and has had some laboratory experience, 2 years in wet chemistry Has good communication skills and is computer literate. Familiarity with standard office software packages. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and quick to learn and an ability to follow written instruction. Evidence of flexible and adaptable working behaviors to meet customer/business requirements and good time management skills. An ability to work effectively and cooperatively as part of a team Demonstrate judgment and competence Good attitude and willingness to participate.
