Accounting Clerk - Direct Hire

Location: Northern New Jersey (must live within 30 minutes of the office)

Schedule: -onsite - Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:30 PM (flexibility if needed)

Compensation: $24-$32/hour + profit sharing

Position Overview:

We are seeking someone polished, organized, and eager to develop their accounting career - especially with a focus on Accounts Receivable. You'll support AP/AR functions, manage employee expenses, assist in billing operations, and work closely with company leadership.

This role is hands-on and essential to supporting the company's financial operations and reporting.


Key Responsibilities:

• 
  
• 
  Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable management.
  
  
• 
  Regular follow-up with clients to support collections and reduce aging AR.
  
  
• 
  Bank transaction reconciliations and benefit account maintenance.
  
  
• 
  Processing of employee expense reports with correct allocations.
  
  
• 
  Assistance with monthly invoicing and compliance reporting.
  
  
• 
  Organization of electronic financial records and reporting support.
  
  
  
  
  Qualifications:
  
  
  • 
    
  • 
    3+ years of accounting experience (AP/AR focus) OR a strong recent graduate with relevant experience.
    
    
  • 
    Stronger skillset in Accounts Receivable is highly preferred.
    
    
  • 
    Extremely organized, detail-focused, and a strong communicator.
    
    
  • 
    Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel); ERP/accounting system exposure a plus.
    
    
  • 
    Growth mindset and openness to feedback.
    
    
    
    Education:
    
    
    • 
      
    • 
      Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline preferred.
