the world. Critical to achieving that goal are the technical
platforms that power our customer growth. We are looking for a
Technical Product Manager to lead our messaging capabilities across
our iOS and Android apps. You will partner with product managers,
cross-functional stakeholders , and engineering leadership.
Together, you will develop thoughtful capabilities for our
engagement and subscription funnels. These capabilities will solve
user needs across NYT brands, including News, The Athletic,
Cooking, Games, and Wirecutter. This is a hybrid role based in our
New York headquarters. You can expect to come into the office two
days a week. Responsibilities: Own the product roadmap for our iOS
and Android messaging platform, ensuring alignment with The New
York Times's enterprise goals. Collaborate with engineering, data
and other stakeholder teams to identify new platform opportunities
and form product requirements that solve internal and external user
needs. Prioritize against a breadth of work, balancing business
needs, technical needs, and user experience. Analyze user data and
key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement
and measure the impact of product changes on subscription growth.
Demonstrate support and understanding of our value of journalistic
independence and a strong commitment to our mission to seek the
truth and help people understand the world. You will report to the
Senior Technical Product Manager, Onsite Messaging & Pricing
Platforms. Basic Qualifications : 2 years of experience in product
management, with a focus on platform products and within the iOS
and Android app ecosystem. Experience launching and iterating on
large-scale features and services across the full product
development cycle. Experience using a variety of data to inform
product decisions and identify areas for improvement in system
performance and user experience. Experience communicating and
collaborating with a broad set of stakeholders. Experience with
Agile product development methodologies and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications : Enthusiasm for solving challenging
technical problems and leading transformational projects.
Experience using data and insights to inform product development
with experience analyzing complex systems and identifying areas for
improvement. Experience with subscription business models and

annual base pay range for this role is between: $104,000 - $125,000
USD For roles in the U.S., dependent on your role, you may be
eligible for variable pay, such as an annual bonus and restricted
