What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp seeks EPAS
Developer, AVP in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions available):
Develop, design and modify applications within Channel Services
application portfolio. Participate in end-to-end delivery of key
channel services components build, code key application patterns
and components as part of functional and non-functional
requirements. Research solutions for business problems especially
in new domains such as cloud based infrastructure. Deliver and
maintain detailed design output, which will be used by the larger
development team. Support monitoring and troubleshooting of both
production and non-production environment. Address any client,
trade, or user queries and minimize impact to business in case of
production issues. Provide and implement tactical solutions to
minimize impact to Business followed by strategic solutions.
Develop Application Services and UI Component using C#, ASP.net,
Java, Angular, Java, and Python. Develop complex Stored Procedures,
Queries, Functions, Views, Indexes in SQL Server 2017 or No SQL DB.
Involved in Performance tuning, Query optimization and diagnostic
of long running queries. Develop unit test cases using NUnit and
MOQ framework. Use SQL Compare, SQL Data Compare and SQL Test tools
for database release and unit test case creation. QA Automation and
Deployment using DevOps tools of Nolio, TeamCity, Jenkins, Nexus,
and BitBucket. May Telecommute. Minimum Salary: $179,982 per year
Maximum Salary: $197,981 per year The minimum and maximum
salary/rate information above includes only base salary or base
hourly rate. It does not include any another type of compensation
or benefits that may be available. Barclays employees are eligible

design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering
methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology
capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by
using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and
tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized
for performance. Cross-functional collaboration with product
managers, designers, and other engineers to define software
requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless
integration and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration
with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of
code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industry
technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the
organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of
technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding
practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and
ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit
testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and
reliability. Assistant Vice President Expectations To advise and
