Job Description:
What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks AVP, Java
& Salesforce Technical Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions
available): 1. Design and deliver Java and Salesforce software
projects to completion, providing guidance on cost, architecture,
and server modifications. 2. Create, modify, and test the code and
scripts that allow computer applications to run. 3. Act as a Java
and Salesforce technical leader within the CRM stream, designs and
implements software solutions. 4. Liaise with a team of developers,
cross-functional IT teams, clients, and stakeholders, on specific
system requirements and advice on best practices and technical
guidance for development strategies. 5. Analyze, maintain, test and
document the CRM data distribution layer and middle-tier components
specifications and instructions to assess and evaluate stability,
security, and scalability of the system architecture. 6. Analyze,
maintain, test and design Salesforce components and software
services to be used as integration with other internal
applications. 7. Monitor systems operations, analyze business
requirements, and provide technical solutions utilizing knowledge
of end-to-end processes and systems concepts. 8. Create Python
scripts that transform data to different types of formats, to be
used as business reports or a system integration. 9. May
telecommute. This position is eligible for incentives pursuant to

develop and improve software, utilising various engineering
methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology
capabilities for our customers and colleagues. Accountabilities
Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by
using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and
tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized
for performance. Cross-functional collaboration with product
managers, designers, and other engineers to define software
requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless
integration and alignment with business objectives. Collaboration
with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of
code quality and knowledge sharing. Stay informed of industry
technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the
organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of
technical excellence and growth. Adherence to secure coding
practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and
ensure secure software solutions. Implementation of effective unit
testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and
reliability. Assistant Vice President Expectations To advise and

closely with other functions/ business divisions. Lead a team

difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
