Job Description:
What will you be doing? Barclays Services Corp. seeks Assistant
Vice President Technical Lead in Whippany, NJ (multiple positions
available): Lead team to develop, define and operationalize the
Climate Data Framework. Manage application support by working with
onshore and offshore development team for pre-production and with
Run the Bank (RTB) team for production support. Mentor and guide
onshore and offshore team members on efficient solution
implementation and maintains any project artifacts like business
presentations and status reports. Involve in Climate Change Program
(Data Strategy) project plans and directs and controls the
day-to-day activities of developers to ensure that the tasks
assigned are completed on time. Manage up 1 direct report of Senior
Java Developer, overseeing their work to ensure business
deliverables are met timely and accurately. May telecommute.
Minimum Salary: $175,700 per year Maximum Salary: $223,500 per year
The minimum and maximum salary/rate information above includes only
base salary or base hourly rate. It does not include any another
type of compensation or benefits that may be available. Barclays

Purpose of the role To design, develop and improve software,
utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides
business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers
and colleagues. Accountabilities Development and delivery of
high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned
programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is
scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers,
and other engineers to define software requirements, devise
solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment
with business objectives. Collaboration with peers, participate in
code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge
sharing. Stay informed of industry technology trends and
innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s
technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence
and growth. Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate
vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software
solutions. Implementation of effective unit testing practices to
ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability. Vice

policies/procedures If managing a team, they define jobs and
