Job Description:
The Delta Companies, a premier Texas-based healthcare staffing
organization, is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Ophthalmologist
to join our expanding network. This position demands a
compassionate and experienced individual capable of providing
specialized eye care for children ranging from infants to
teenagers. The role involves diagnosing, treating, and managing all
types of eye problems in pediatric patients, with a focus on
providing nurturing, child-friendly healthcare solutions. By

treat pediatric eye conditions, including but not limited to
refractive errors, amblyopia, strabismus, and congenital
abnormalities. Perform eye exams and vision tests to assess the
health of the eyes and the quality of vision of pediatric patients.
Prescribe corrective lenses, medications, and recommend therapeutic
procedures as needed. Provide pre-operative and post-operative care
for children undergoing eye surgeries. Collaborate with
pediatricians and other healthcare professionals to provide
integrated care. Educate patients and their parents about eye
health, preventive care, and treatments. Keep abreast of
developments in pediatric ophthalmology to ensure the application
of up-to-date practices. Expertise in pediatric eye care and
surgery Strong diagnostic skills for eye-related diseases in
children Ability to communicate effectively with children and their
families Proficiency in using medical equipment for eye examination
and treatment Capacity to handle sensitive situations with empathy
