We are a state-of-the-art, 38-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital jointly operated by Atlantic Health System and Lifepoint Rehabilitation. We specialize in helping individuals recover from the debilitating effects of serious injuries or illnesses-including stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, orthopedic trauma, and amputation-through customized, patient-centered care. What You'll Do - Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care - Implement and adjust nursing interventions to support rehabilitation goals - Deliver safe, age-appropriate, and condition-specific care - Educate patients and families throughout their inpatient stay and during discharge planning - Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and other team members - Accurately document clinical assessments and support medical necessity in records - Complete and update interdisciplinary care plans as needed - Contribute to continuous quality and performance improvement efforts - Uphold hospital safety standards and contribute to a supportive, respectful work environment - Act as a clinical role model and support leadership initiatives Qualifications - Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program (BSN, ADN, or Diploma) - Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey - Current BCLS (CPR) certification; ACLS preferred - CRRN preferred - Minimum six (6) months of experience in an acute care or med/surg setting preferred - Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills - Passion for rehabilitation nursing and improving patients' quality of life Equal Opportunity Employer Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute is committed to providing Equal Employment Opportunities for all applicants and employees and complies with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination against any employee or applicant for employment because of color, race, sex, age, religion, national origin, disability, genetic information, gender identity, sexual orientation, veterans' status or any other basis protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
