be considered. A full-time licensed school nurse opportunity is
available in Orange, NJ, supporting a school district-wide setting.
This role offers the chance to serve an entire school building,
delivering expert nursing care and health education to students in
an onsite environment. Key Responsibilities: - Provide
comprehensive nursing services within the school setting, including
health assessments, medication administration, and managing student
health records. - Collaborate with educators and staff to implement
health plans and promote a safe learning environment. - Respond to
student health emergencies promptly and coordinate care as needed.
- Maintain compliance with all local and state regulations,
including documentation of health screenings and immunizations. -
Support district-wide health initiatives and participate in
professional development activities. Qualifications: - Active RN
license and school nurse certifications valid in New Jersey. -
Proven experience working as a school nurse in a school-based
setting; clinical-only experience is not sufficient. - Ability to
work onsite full time for 35 hours per week. - Clearance of
required background checks, including fingerprints for both agency
and district. - Completion of TB test and physical examination
prior to employment. - Flexible to participate in in-person and/or
Zoom interviews. This position is a travel assignment with a
contract through June 26, 2026, starting as soon as possible. Only
one opening is available for this role. The position involves
strict adherence to onsite presence to ensure immediate support to
