Headway, a leader in mental health innovation, is seeking a compassionate and competent Licensed Practical Nurse Practitioner (LPNP) to join our dedicated team. In this role, you will be integral in bridging the gap between patients and the mental health care they need. By leveraging your expertise in nursing and mental health, you will contribute directly to our mission of making mental health services more accessible through efficient insurance processing, providing empathetic and professional care to our patients. Conduct initial patient screenings and patient history reviews to understand mental health conditions and needs. Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for side effects and responses to treatment. Assist in the development and implementation of care plans for patients, focused on achieving optimal mental health outcomes. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in compliance with HIPAA laws and applicable regulations. Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and wellness strategies. Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other health professionals to deliver comprehensive mental health services. Participate in ongoing training and professional development sessions to stay current with the latest practices in mental health care. Strong clinical skills in a healthcare setting Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Proficiency in handling mental health cases Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of electronic medical record (EMR) systems Medical Insurance Dental Insurance Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401k Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) CPR certification Preferably certified in Psychiatric-Mental Health
