Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: OR - Operating Room - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 03/09/2026 - Duration: 8 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel /n Job Description/n American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN with scrub and circulate skills for a night shift travel assignment with Epic EMR experience and NJ or compact license required. /n /n Responsibilities/n - Work in the Operating Room supporting surgical services in a hospital setting - Assignment involves care for patients across pediatric to geriatric populations - Shift is 7:00 PM to 8:00 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week - Must be able to both scrub and circulate - Expected to float to a nearby sister hospital as needed - Epic charting is utilized for documentation - Provide comprehensive perioperative care including thorough assessments, direct patient care, emergency response, and education - Maintain accurate and complete documentation in accordance with established guidelines - Demonstrate competency with emergency equipment and safety protocols - Ensure patient satisfaction through a team-based approach and courteous interactions - Adhere to Universal Protocol, safety, and patient identification standards - Participation in orientation and collaboration with the perioperative team are expected - Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one year with required breaks before returning /n /n Requirements/n - Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration - Current BLS certification required - Minimum of 1 year recent OR RN experience required - Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred - CNOR certification preferred - Experience with Epic EMR is required - Must be able to meet 50-mile radius requirement; no local candidates accepted /n Benefits/n - High Pay and Bonuses - Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options - 401(k) Plan - Weekly Payroll Deposit - Free Online CEUs - Generous Housing Allowance - Travel and Licensure Reimbursements - Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy - Traveler Rewards and Discounts /n American Traveler Job ID P-673282.
