Compensation: $53 - $56 hourly Responsibilities: - Conduct in-home assessments and manage symptom control - Develop and update care plans to meet patient needs - Provide direct clinical care focused on comfort and dignity - Collaborate with the medical director, social workers, and aides - Support families and guide them through the hospice process - Advocate for patients’ wishes and cultural values - Participate in team meetings and coordinate care strategies - Communicate with outside providers as needed - Educate families on care expectations and ways to help - Maintain accurate, timely documentation for compliance and continuity Qualifications: - Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey - 2–3 years of clinical nursing experience (hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred) - Knowledge of hospice philosophy and end-of-life care - Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and team members - Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team - Excellent time management, organization, and attention to detail - Comfortable using electronic health records (EHR) and related healthcare software About Company Spero Hospice is a group of dedicated, hardworking professionals who understand that individuals and families entering hospice care may feel scared, overwhelmed, sad, or unsure.
