Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Radiology Technologist - Discipline: Allied Health Professional - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours - Employment Type: Local Contract WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a radiology technologist for an on-going contract assignment at an ambulatory surgery center in Shrewsbury, NJ. /n Job Function: /n - Position patients and adjust equipment to obtain images as requested by the physician. /n - Set up, operate, and maintain x-ray equipment in compliance with policy and procedure. /n - Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort. /n - Minimize radiation exposure to patients and staff by adhering to radiation protection techniques. /n - /n /n Job Requirements: /n - Graduate of an accredited radiology program. /n /n - ARRT registered with Radiography (R) certification. /n /n - New Jersey Radiologic Technologist State Certificate. /n /n - Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. /n /n - Driver's License. /n /n - 6 months of paid working experience in Radiology required. /n /n /n /n /n Disclosure: The hourly rates and/or salaries listed may or may not reflect total compensation packages including bonus and fringe benefits, etc., nor are the advertisement(s) posted a guarantee of a certain compensation package for a position or bona fide offer of employment.
