Qualifications
--- Extensive experience working with steel fabrication
blueprints
--- Knowledge of blueprint symbols and terminology
--- Understanding of bill of material and material shapes, grades,
and sizes
--- Communication skills necessary to manage team members
--- Ability to work with detailers, customers, and engineers to set
schedules and manage document flow
--- TEKLA EPM/TEKLA POWERFAB
--- Ability to check photos for errors
Responsibilities
--- The Detailing Manager ensures all internally detailed prints
are accurate and done on a timely basis
--- Overseeing the production of Shop and Erection Drawings
--- Schedule drawing production with engineers and detailers
--- Develop and maintain company detailing standards and detailing
procedures
--- Manage transmittals of the owner's designated representative
and consultants
--- Ensure all project requirements and contract documents are
reviewed and incorporated into shop and erection drawings
--- Train Detailers and Checkers
--- Ensure the detailing team is working with the latest contract
drawings
--- Drawing changes
