Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Engineering Manager to lead and oversee the engineering and design teams. This team is responsible for all packaged systems quoting, design, drawings, and submittals supporting commercial and industrial applications. These packaged systems may include pumps, air compressors, heat exchangers, motors, piping, instrumentation, and control panels, mounted on fabricated steel bases or integrated within building enclosures. ________________________________________ Ideal Candidate Profile Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline (PE licensure preferred) 5–7 years of relevant industry experience; prior management experience is a plus Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with drawing tools such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks Strong communication, system design, and problem-solving skills Demonstrated leadership ability with a track record of motivating and guiding teams Highly organized, able to prioritize effectively, delegate tasks, and thrive in a fast-paced environment Committed to delivering high-quality, accurate, and consistent work ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Management: 60% Provide leadership, direction, and oversight for Application Engineering, Design/Drafting, and Controls Engineering teams Recruit, train, and develop engineering staff to support departmental objectives Establish and maintain efficient workflow processes and procedures Ensure cost sheets, submittals, and drawings are accurate, consistent, and completed to standards Manage engineering quoting and submittal schedules to ensure timely delivery System Design: 40% Lead the design of highly customized and innovative packaged systems, continually expanding departmental capabilities Ensure all designs meet internal standards, best engineering practices, and applicable codes and regulations Leverage internal expertise and external resources to validate compliance and optimize designs Collaborate with customers, shop personnel, and project managers to provide technical support and resolve design-related issues Manage a broad portfolio of concurrent projects with efficiency and attention to detail Address challenges with professionalism, collaboration, and persistence
