Job Description Job Description Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer Job Description We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. The role involves planning, developing, and implementing production methods, as well as coordinating efforts for acquiring necessary equipment and tooling. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in maintaining production standards and assisting in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues. Responsibilities Plan, develop, and implement production methods and cell set-up, including layout, routers, and build books for all products, including overhaul and repair. Plan and coordinate efforts towards the acquisition of needed equipment and tooling. Develop and maintain production standards. Assist in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems and test failures. Review engineering drawings for manufacturability and write engineering change orders as required. Witness and evaluate acceptance tests on units to verify product performance and test procedure accuracy. Review designs and processes for continuous improvement opportunities and manufacturability. Build manufacturing bills of material based on engineering bills of material. Perform or witness developmental/qualification/performance testing on new products, including Vibration, Thermal, Environmental, and duty cycle tests. Create Test Plans and write Pest Reports. Perform audits in various areas within the company. Essential Skills 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role. Familiarity with CAD (Creo or equivalent) and GD&T drawing standards. Understanding of lean manufacturing techniques. Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with hands-on requirements. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Whippany, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $130000.00/yr. - Medical/Dental, Life, and Disability Insurance - 80 hours of PTO (accrued) - 401k plan participation Workplace Type This is a fully onsite position in Whippany,NJ.
