This is a permanent position that involves overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring health and safety regulations are followed, scheduling projects, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs). The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker who can manage complex operations and lead a team to success. Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the engineering department, ensuring smooth and efficient processes Implement and maintain health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations to ensure the well-being of all employees Develop and manage project schedules, coordinating with different teams to ensure timely completion of tasks Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and other operational metrics to assess productivity and identify areas for improvement Collaborate with senior management to set operational goals, aligning with the company's strategic objectives Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, fostering a positive and productive work environment Coordinate with the HR department to recruit, hire, and train new engineering staff Develop and manage budgets, ensuring resources are used efficiently Stay current with the latest engineering technology, trends, and techniques to ensure the company remains competitive Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field required; advanced degree in Engineering preferred Minimum of 5 years of experience in an operations management role within the engineering industry Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations Proficient in project scheduling and management Experience with tracking and analyzing KPIs and other operational metrics Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a proven track record of leading a team to success Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills Excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software Must be detail-oriented and able to make sound decisions under pressure.
