Position Details: Position Type: Full Time Job Location: Wilmington, DE (hybrid schedule up to 25% travel to project sites) Compensation: $50 - $65/hr depending upon qualifications Benefits: Paid Vacation Days, Paid Holidays, National Health Network Plans, National Dental Network Plans, National Vision Network Plans, 401k Plan (Roth and Traditional) Must Be Authorized to work in the U.S. without Sponsorship Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering At least 4 years or more of Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering experience either within (or as a consultant to) industrial, chemical, manufacturing and commercial facilities Professional Engineering (P.E.) preferred but not required AutoCAD 2D design and drafting experience AutoCAD 3D, RISA or CAESAR Pipe Stress Analysis, preferred but not required Experience and knowledge in Building and Structural Design (i.e. steel, concrete / masonry, Code evaluations, site planning, grading, sewer and drainage systems, and Underground ) Experience with performing structural evaluations of existing structures Project Management activities such as scope development, cost and man hours estimates, bid package development, and scheduling What will you do in this Job? You will assess and perform calculations for concrete and steel design using current codes as well as perform structural steel analysis and code analysis. You will conduct civil and structural design reviews with all stakeholders, review project proposals, and prepare design information/documentation. Support procurement, civil/structural construction, and commissioning phases of projects with activities including assisting with preparation of labor/material estimates and design packages. You must have a strong understanding of piping and 8 years of engineering experience with hands-on experience in the installation, operation, and maintenance of equipment in industrial process facilities. You will assist with industrial application projects including foundations for equipment, pipe support, and building designs. You will also be assigned commercial structural assessment projects, run surveying equipment, and perform structural evaluations of existing structures. You will not only troubleshoot and problem solve, but you will often put on your "Project Engineering Hat" and work collaboratively with other Engineering Discipline Team Members to complete project objectives on-time and within budget. You will certainly need to have good written and verbal communications skills to interact with customers and be willing to travel up to 25% of the time. Chat Instantly about this job!
