Specialist / ABA Therapy training and have a minimum 1 years
Behavior Therapy experience. Applicants who do not meet these
qualifications will not be considered. An educational setting in
Fairfield, CA is seeking a Behavior Specialist or Registered
Behavior Technician (RBT) to support a K-12 student with severe
needs on a 1:1 basis. This contract position involves working
directly with the student within a general education classroom
environment for the current school year. Key Responsibilities:
Provide one-to-one support to a student with severe behavioral and
developmental needs. Implement behavior intervention plans and
support strategies under supervision. Collaborate with classroom
staff to promote a positive learning environment. Maintain accurate
and timely daily reporting on student progress and behaviors.
Assist in general education classroom activities to promote
inclusion. Desired Qualifications: Certification as a Board
Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or Registered Behavior Technician
(RBT). Experience working in K-12 educational settings with
students who have significant behavioral needs. Ability to follow
behavior intervention plans and document data consistently. Strong
communication skills for collaboration with teachers and support
staff. Patience, flexibility, and commitment to student success.
Job Details: Location: Fairfield, CA Setting: K-12 School, General
Education Classroom Contract Length: Current School Year (CSY) Work
Hours: Approximately 35 hours per week Start Date: ASAP (Onsite)
