Job Description:
This role involves managing financial reporting processes and
ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements within the banking
industry. The ideal candidate will focus on delivering accurate
financial reports to various regulatory bodies while supporting the
accounting and finance department in New York. Client Details
Commercial bank in NYC Description Prepare and review financial
statements in compliance with GAAP and IFRS standards. Prepare Head
Office reporting, regulatory reporting to the Federal Reserve Bank,
and SEC reporting Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end
financial closing processes. Analyze financial data and create
reports to support decision-making processes. Collaborate with the
accounting and finance team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in
reporting. Support audits by preparing required documentation and
addressing audit inquiries. Ensure compliance with internal
controls and identify areas for process improvement. Stay updated
on changes in financial reporting regulations and standards.
Provide support to senior management with ad hoc financial projects

successful Financial Reporting Associate should have: A strong
understanding of US GAAP and financial reporting standards. German
GAAP is experience is a plus, but not required 3 years of
experience working in a financial reporting group at a bank SEC
and/or Federal Reserve reporting Public accounting experience a
plus CPA a plus Proficiency in financial reporting tools and ERP
systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. A
detail-oriented mindset with the ability to manage multiple
priorities effectively. A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance,
or a related field. Job Offer Competitive salary ranging from
