Adecco is currently recruiting for multiple Medical Billing/Collections Analysts in the Hanover Township area.

JOB SUMMARY

The primary function of an Account Analyst is to research and review medical insurance documentation and to contact provider, payor and /or patients to facilitate collection of claims and or overpayments.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

¿ Contact providers, payors or patients, Prioritization may be problem accounts, high volume and high dollar portfolio

¿ Request and obtain required documentation to provide proof of claims and or overpayment

¿ Prepare form letters from providers and patients to collect claims and or overpayments

¿ Prepare weekly/monthly reports

¿ Build rapport with day-to-day client contacts and providers

¿ Assure payment verification and all activity impacting month end reports

¿ All other duties as may be assigned

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

¿ PC literate

¿ Detail oriented and highly organized

¿ Ability to meet deadlines

¿ Articulate with good telephone skills and etiquette

¿ Must be able to work on multiple tasks/projects simultaneously

¿ Accounts receivable or collections background in a Health Care related field is a plus but not necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

¿ High School Diploma or GED

¿ Collections experience is required

¿ Customer Service experience is required

¿ Prior Medical Billing is REQUIRED

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday 8am-5pm.
